The Prostate Centre - Serving Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands is a community-based information centre that seeks to assist men and their families with up-to-date, unbiased and understandable medical information on prostate cancer and prostate health.
We believe in emphasizing the importance of early detection of prostate cancer in order to increase the survival rate for this major cause of cancer in Canadian men.
The Prostate Centre is dedicated to fundraising for and promoting of research toward a cure for prostate cancer and is participating in the largest-ever prostate cancer prevention trial sponsored by the National Cancer Institute.
