Advantages of using the online system to collect pledges:

• You can email friends, family, co-workers and more for their support
• You can track the funds raised easily
• You don't have to track people down to collect money
• It is a seamless process for people to donate money on your behalf
• Donors will automatically be sent a tax receipt for online donations of $20 or more.

• You can also collect pledges and mail or drop it off at: The Prostate Centre, Suite 100-1900 Richmond Road, Victoria, BC V8R 4R2.  Please make cheques payable to "The Prostate Centre" . If you would like more options to drop money off at the Prostate Centre after hours, please contact us and we will arrange for someone to be available.

IMPORTANT!!!! ONLINE & OFFLINE DONOR INFORMATION:

If you would like a tax receipt for your donation, please make sure ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION, INCLUDING AN EMAIL ADDRESS, IS COMPLETE AND LEGIBLE. We will not mail out receipts with incomplete donor information. If you don't know your donor's email address then PLEASE PUT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

NO EMAIL ADDRESS = NO TAX RECEIPT!

Note: To be eligible for top pledge collecting prizes, submit all pledges on or before 4:00pm Friday, June 15th, 2012.

Please make all cheques payable to The Prostate Centre. Tax receipts for pledges of $20 or more will be issued to individuals providing an address and postal code.

Early Bird Prizes

Register and raise the most money by Monday, March 26th and be entered to win $100 in gift cards from the Running Room.  But don't worry, you have another chance!  The registered participant who has raised the most money by Friday, May 11th has a chance to win a $200 Gift Card from Safeway!   Need some good fundraising tips / helpful hints?  Simply contact The Prostate Centre and let us help you!

Top Collector Prizes

Top Collector Prizes will be available to the Top 3 Individual Pledge Collectors and the Top Corporate Team and Top Family/Friends Team.  The Top "overall" fundraising team will get their name engraved on the Golden Walnut award.

Top Individual Fundraising Prizes:   

First Place: $500 Safeway gift card
Second Place: Return trip for 2 on the Victoria Clipper
Third Place:   $50 gift certificate for Il Terrazzo Ristorante and 1 Night Accomodation at Hotel Grand Pacific

8km Run:

Top 3 Males and Females Overall will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony.

Event Day Draw Prizes:

Large Draw Prizes will be awarded at the Awards Ceremony at 11:30. For small draw prizes you can visit the draw prize table set up at the event. Names of winners will be posted and you can pickup your draw prize at the draw prize table. NOTE - All names (even those who won a small draw prize) will be entered to win one of five large draw prizes, so stick around as they are going to be good prizes!
